Question : Is it possible to install Windows 7 on a bare bones system, using the Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade disk
Answer : Yes it is [well it worked on my system
- Install windows 7 as a fresh install using the disks
- Do not enter product Key and don’t let it activate
- Once installed update the system using windows update
- From the run prompt type activate and fill in the key and let the system active
- Enjoy
You might be wondering why i tried this, well i had vista 32bit, and you can’t upgrade to window 7 64bit, now you can Can’t guarentee it will work for you, but i’m now typing this using Windows Live Writer on a 64bit Version of Windows 7.
