Linux Events
I’ve decided that next year I’m going to attend at least one major linux show, after seeing numerous reports from SELF, LinuxTag, various FUDcons, it’s about time i went to one. Now i’m in the UK so where to go? Europe? the US? who knows, i’ve still got plenty of time to think about it

Or as it should more appropriately be called for next year, linux.conf.nz
FOSDEM?
I believe they’re still planning to do a LUGRadio Live in the UK this year. You could check with Jono.
Hi Paul,
I’m _sure_ i remember you saying this 2 years ago
.
I was going to suggest FOSDEM, but I’ve been beaten to it!

The choice really depends on waht you want to do/see.
For Europe:
Meet lots of developers -> FOSDEM
Meet Fedora/RH developers -> FUDCon
Meet lots of projects and see what they have to offer -> lots of events, would go to something with more ‘community is a big family’, not LinuxTag (e.g. Chemnitzer LinuxTage or FrOSCon, both in Germany)
