As i’m using Fedora 10 i wanted a blog client to run from my desktop so i don’t have to keep logging in. In the past i’ve used gnome-blog but a yum install gnome-blog didn’t have it. Was there an alternative, well actually yes there is, it’s called Drivel. yum install drivel
My only initial problem was that wordpress wasn’t one of the options to connect, but google being your friend soon pointed me in the right direction. Use moveable type as the connection application then put in the location of yout xmlric.php file mine is
http://www.paulmellors.net/xmlrpc.php
Obviously use your own username and password, and viola a blog updater for wordpress….:) Good Times.
