		<description>not sure what your issue was with the native installer for vmware console.  i&#039;m running the latest and greatest (server and console) on 8.0.4. with no issues.  there was some futzing i had to do, but found it easily on ubuntu forums.  personally, i only use win32 apps under wine as a last resort.  my experience is that even when you get them started, you usually run into some issues (display, stability) somewhere up the road.

thanks for an interesting blog.  i enjoyed the tomboy entry.  there was a bit to do beyond your article for syncing with other machines, but its a worthwhile effort.  if you want notes, i could give them to you for an update. 

now onto getting them synced with evolution.</description>
