Ubuntu - Webcams
Just got my hands on a creative labs webcam, model PD1130 which looking at my mug in cheese, works out of the box
1, tail -f /var/log/messages
2, plug in the mouse look for this

3, start up cheese and produce something like this

Creative webcams do seem to work really well. That’s what mine is. I never got it going on Windows, but it works on Ubuntu.
