I’ve had to reinstall my debian server, and i couldn’t remember how to enable mod_rewrite….grrr well to be honest wasn’t to hard to find

root@xen-web:~# a2enmod rewrite
Module rewrite installed; run /etc/init.d/apache2 force-reload to enable.
root@xen-web:~# /etc/init.d/apache2 force-reload
Forcing reload of web server: Apache2.
All is good in the world
