Went to get a joint account today with the wife, for bills and anything else really, one of the things i was shocked at is they didn’t need to see any identification, apparently the banks have been granted access to extra databases so they can verify who you say you are. That’s all well and good but they couldn’t/didn’t verify my picture, what i actually look like….isn’t this a vital point of actually identifying someone?
